I don't really know how to start here... What a disaster and frustrating experience.
Nicki was just clueless of loan options and wasn't able to provide us with directions at all. We initially decided to move forward with putting 20% down and finance the remaining. Since the loan was going to be under my name only and I had a leased car, my debt % was higher than allowed. She then suggested to pay off the lease loan and that would cover the need.
I spent $30,000 to pay off my loan and 2 days before close date, she said that was not sufficient. 2 days before closing date??? We then returned the car to show no relation with possible future car loan as indicated by UAMC. I just spent $30,000 to pay off the lease in advance and now I have to return my car?
In addition to that, we had to leave our old house because that house got sold and we simply did not have where to go, and no idea when/IF we were going to get the new home. How come???? This is unacceptable! We had to spend 7 days in a hotel and had family out of the country in town.
3 hotel rooms per day, for 7 days! So in order to get the house, we had to come out with additional $80,000 overnight and change the loan type to 625.5K.
I swear I never had a such bad and traumatic experience in my whole life. What was supposed to be an exciting moment (buying your first and new home), became to be a nightmare. And her lack of communication, follow up, professionalism were just impressive.
We had several cases where we tried to contact her via cell and NO answer at all. Same with her Mgr Kathleen. I'm very open and willing to discuss more in case you need additional details and proof of everything I just said.
I have it all documented. My contact info is firstname.lastname@example.org
